Responsible Gambling

Pennsylvania offers nearly every form of legalized gambling within its borders. There is horse racing, a state lottery, charitable gaming, casinos, video gaming terminals and online poker, casino and sports betting. This can cause some state residents to have problems controlling their gambling. There are many ways to get help if this happens to you or somebody close to you.

Pennsylvania gambling self-exclusion lists

There are four ways to self-exclude from licensed Pennsylvania gaming establishments. These are offered by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.. Each form covers a specific form of gambling. There are ones for casino gambling, interactive gaming sites, video gaming terminals and fantasy sports. Self-excluding from one does not exclude the players from other forms of gambling. Players looking to do that will need to make sure all the correct forms are completed.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board offers another way to control gambling in the state. There are self-imposed interactive limits available. This is where a player can set deposit, time, loss and maximum bet limits. This is helpful for players that would like to participate in online poker rooms, casino games or sports betting, but would like some safeguard to prevent an impulsive moment from creating an issue.
