Parx Poker Room

The Parx poker room hosts 48 tables. That is nearly half the amount that it had in recent years. There is a three-table VIP section of the room. 

It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The only action is cash games at this time. Poker tournaments are currently suspended.

There are nine players per table. The Parx poker room offers a bad beat jackpot as its main promotion.

The Parx poker room deals one of the largest selections of games in the region. Typical no limit hold’em blinds are 1/3, 2/5 and 10/10. The buy-in for 1/3 is $100 to $500. It is $200 to $1,000 at 2/5. At 10/10, it is $500 to $3,000. 

Pot limit Omaha blinds start at 2/2 at the Parx poker room. There is also a 5/5 pot limit Omaha game. The buy-in at 2/2 is $100 to $500. It is $500 to $2,000 at 5/5. The weekend 10/10 pot limit Omaha game has $1,000 to $4,000 buy-ins. 

There are some large fixed limit hold’em games. There may also be a mixed game involving Omaha hi/lo, seven card stud hi/lo and draw.

Parx poker tournaments

Parx does not deal poker tournaments. These are suspended due to pandemic restrictions. There were six weekly no limit Texas hold’em tournaments before the closure. The buy-ins started at $100. Parx says on its Bravo Poker page that it will bring poker tournaments back soon.

Parx poker promotions

The bad beat jackpot is the main promotion at the Parx poker room. Players win if they lose four sixes or better. The loser of the hand receives 40% of the bad beat jackpot. The winning hand receives 20%. The table share is 40%. 

There are high hand bonuses six days a week in September 2022. There is a $250 giveaway every 30 minutes from noon to 8pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays. It is $500 every half hour from 6pm to 2am on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
